Your 2021 Guide To Virginia’s PRIDE Festivals & Events

2021 will be a year of reconnecting with our families, friends and LGBTQ+ allies. Virginia’s Queer communities are as strong, passionate and resilient as ever. We are making plans to celebrate PRIDE together in 2021.
Virginia is celebrating our equality as the first southern state to sign into law the Virginia Values Act in 2020. And, in 2021, the passing of more legislation further extends Virginia’s non-discrimination protections for Virginians on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. All these efforts provide new levels of Welcome and Safety for LGBTQ+ visitors. Virginia’s LGBTQ+ people are finding and sharing more of our Queer history, statewide.
In addition to PRIDE events and festivals, there are plenty of self-designated LGBT-friendly hotels, B&Bs, cabins and campsites available to stay at with family and friends, found at Virginia.org/LGBT. There are also so many things to do and discover, such as shops, restaurants, distilleries, meaderies, cideries, craft breweries, wineries, outdoor adventures, and much more.
